GET THE ACTUAL FLIGHT PATH
PROPOSALS BUT BEFORE YOU DO.....
"At this early stage in the airport planning process it is not possible to prepare 'final' flight paths for the second airport. It will, for example, be necessary to review the preliminary flight paths in light of the noise and other environmental assessments of the second airport proposal. Between now and the opening of the airport, it may also be necessary to adjust the flight paths for operational and other reasons which cannot be foreseen at this time."

"Holsworthy was deemed too close to allow the airports to operate independently, raising the prospect that Kingsford Smith might be scaled down if Holsworthy went ahead. Southerly departures would head seaward over Helensburgh and Stanwell Park."
SMH COMMENTARY
My question is where will aircraft track
(South) from Stanwell Park?
Over Wollongong City at 1700 metres!
WHERE ARE THE NOISE CONE DIAGRAMS?
WARNING: The Feds consider that:
"When the site for Sydney's second airport is selected, more detailed planning will need to take into account:
- the actual operating plan for Sydney Airport at that time.
- detailed assessment of areas under the flight paths for obstacle clearances and noise impacts.
- the stage of development of the new airport, eg. first stage with one runway only.
- technological developments in airspace and air traffic management." |
My question is: shouldn't we know all of
this prior to site selection? This proposal is TAINTED!
Will aviation fuel will be brought to Holsworthy via a pipeline to
be laid
along the bed of the Georges River? If not, will they try to deliver it through the port
of Port Kembla? Do we really
deserve this?
No
Aircraft Noise Party and other Sydney Kingsford Smith airport groups: Are they pushing to have KSA closed down and
Holsworthy designated as an airport dumping ground? Or are their collective agendas aimed
at minimizing airport flight path noise and misery for ALL Sydney residents? Check
